Alun Parry – Between The Lightning Storms Album Launch – Live at Prohibition

Alun Parry launches his new album with a very special, completely solo, purely acoustic show – just one man and one guitar in the intimate surroundings of Prohibition Recording Studios.

Deliberately stripped right back to the songs themselves, Alun will perform music from Between the Lightning Storms alongside favourites from across his catalogue.

To make the night even more special, he’ll be digging out some beautiful songs that don’t usually make it into the live set. Some have rarely been played live. Others have never been played live at all.

No band. No big production. It’s just Alun, his guitar and the songs, performed with the simplicity and intimacy with which they were first written.

A rare chance to hear Alun’s music at its most stripped-back, authentic and intimate.

Consider this your chance, as a fan, to come hear the artist you love perform in an intimate, inner-city studio environment and also discover new, similar and fantastic musicians.

This is a unique gig experience that puts you at the heart of the artist’s performance.

Due to this we have a minimal talking/phone use policy during performances. Any unnecessary noise during performances will result in you being asked to leave the event.

We thank you for helping us to create a listening environment and respecting the artists.

No under 18s allowed.

Doors open at 19:00 and guests are encouraged to be seated by 19:30 to enable performances to begin on time and to avoid the disruption of finding seats during the artist’s set.

A large proportion of the revenue raised from ticket sales is returned to the artists as payment for their talent and musicianship.

Prohibition Recording Studios prides itself in having musical integrity on behalf of ourselves and the artists.
