Carlos Grassot & Ali Horn +// Isaac Neilson – Live at Prohibition

Carlos Grassot is a Spanish singer songwriter who moved to the UK to pursue his dream and become a professional musician.

At the age of 21 he left his family, friends and the village he was born in to move to London and start honing his craft. After a year and a half of intense life experiences he moved to Liverpool where he wrote his first ever EP called “Farewell the child” where he collected past memories that pushed him to make a big step in becoming an adult, including his recent stint in London.

Nowadays, Carlos has formed a family and has released his second EP called “Farewell the world”, criticizing our society in different ways and also, due to his new life as a father, is in process of writing and recording two EP’s called “Welcome the child” and “Welcome the world” that all together will form a 16 song album called “The Child and The World”.

Ali Horn is a singer songwriter, and producer originally from London but now firmly rooted in Liverpool since 2005. His wry style of Americana blends the every day and the surreal in a woozy and emotional journey. His second album will be available by the end of the year via Docklands Speedshop records.

Consider this your chance, as a fan, to come hear the artist you love perform in an intimate, inner-city studio environment and also discover new, similar and fantastic musicians.

This is a unique gig experience that puts you at the heart of the artist’s performance.

Due to this we have a minimal talking/phone use policy during performances. Any unnecessary noise during performances will result in you being asked to leave the event.

We thank you for helping us to create a listening environment and respecting the artists.

Doors open at 19:00 and the show starts shortly after. We politely ask all guests to arrive within 30 minuites of the door opening time to ensure performances are not disturbed. Once performances start, our doors will be closed.

A large proportion of the revenue raised from ticket sales is returned to the artists as payment for their talent and musicianship.

Prohibition Recording Studios prides itself in having musical integrity on behalf of ourselves and the artists.

Tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis and are non-refundable for any reason.
