Alison Benson

Alison is three times winner of Liverpool Acoustic Songwriting Challenge. Armed with a ukulele, she performs self-penned folk songs and quirky covers. Alison is described as a ‘powerful live performer’ (Fatea Records) and her ukulele playing is described as ‘skilful and varied’ (Uke magazine).

Junior Dayvis and Ollie Hobson

Singer/guitar player, Junior Dayvis been around for a while and has played many venues in Liverpool over the years. Notably supporting world renowned singer/guitarist Jon Gomm at the philharmonic music room in May 2025.

Ollie Hobson is a talented young acoustic artist who blends Strong vocals, expressive guitar, and skilful loop pedal work to create a rich, multi-layered sound.

Ollie has already performed at some remarkable venues and events, including the Liverpool Philharmonic, Liverpool Cathedral, Anfield Fanzone, and Tribute on the Hill. His musical influences span generations, with favourites including Oasis, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Dylan, and The Beatles — a taste well beyond his years.

Ollie has been writing his own songs for the past couple of years, showcasing a maturity and creativity that hint at a bright future. With big dreams — including playing the legendary Glastonbury Festival — this solo and originals gig is another step on what promises to be an exciting musical journey.

This is a unique gig experience that puts you at the heart of the artist’s performance. Due to this we have a minimal talking/phone use policy during performances. Any unnecessary noise during performances will result in you being asked to leave the event. We thank you for helping us to create a listening environment and respecting the artists.

Doors open at 19:00 and the show starts shortly after.

A large proportion of the revenue raised from ticket sales is returned to the artists as payment for their talent and musicianship.

Prohibition Recording Studios prides itself in having musical integrity on behalf of ourselves and the artists.

Tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis and are non-refundable.

We politely ask all guests to arrive within 45 minuites of the door opening time to ensure performances are not disturbed. Once performances start, our doors will be closed.
