About The Events

The Merseyside based Singer/Songwriter draws inspiration from roots music and the outdoors. Oisin’s sound is folk inspired with distinctive fingerpicking patterns and alternate tunings in his sound with a raspy, soulful voice, reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen, Ray LaMontagne, John Martyn and Kelly Joe Phelps.

Oisín recorded at London’s famous Metropolis Studios in 2022 with Producer Alex Robinson (Raye, Sam Fender, Elton John) and gained valuable experience to begin working more on crafting his sound and developing as an artist.

Oisín has went on to open up shows for many artists over the years such as Simon Fowler and Oscar Harrison (Ocean Colour Scene), Katie Nicholas, Golden Shoals, Xander & The Peace Pirates, Paul Dunbar… and has built up a passionate following along the way.

Oisín debut E.P ‘Be Free, Like A Bird’ was recorded with engineer Jon Withnall (Coldplay, The Coral, I am Kloot) and Produced by award winning Songwriter Robert Vincent who also features on the record is due to be released on 3rd June 2025.

Consider this your chance, as a fan, to come hear the artist you love perform in an intimate, inner-city studio environment and also discover new, similar and fantastic musicians.

This is a unique gig experience that puts you at the heart of the artist’s performance. Due to this we have a minimal talking/phone use policy during performances.

Any unnecessary noise during performances will result in you being asked to leave the event. We thank you for helping us to create a listening environment and respecting the artists.

No under 18s allowed.

Doors open at 19:00 and the show starts shortly after.

A large proportion of the revenue raised from ticket sales is returned to the artists as payment for their talent and musicianship.

Prohibition Recording Studios prides itself in having musical integrity on behalf of ourselves and the artists.

Tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis and are non-refundable.

We politely ask all guests to arrive within 45 minuites of the door opening time to ensure performances are not disturbed. Once performances start, our doors will be closed.

Ticket sales end at 12pm on the day of the event – No tickets will be available on the door unless specified by Prohibition Recording Studios.
