About The Events
On Saturday 21st September Stanley Isley will be playing Prohibition Recording Studios!
This is a great opportunity to see Stanley live and up close in our cosy city centre venue!
For those that don’t know Stanley Isley:
‘Born and raised in Liverpool, yet I’m far from a Liverpool musician. The east village on the lower east side of Manhattan is my stomping ground. I’ve been playing in the city that’s become my second home, preaching my acoustic blues at any bar that will let me for just over a year. My music has been inspired from not only the great blues players but also Motown and Philly soul, folk singers and naturally rock and roll in all its forms. I’ve always been enamoured by rhythm, I never wanted to be a lead player, I love having the glory of those chords. I believe what makes great music is your ability to move to it, whether that’s tapping your foot or dancing. That’s what those who inspired me managed to do from Humble Pie to Led Zeppelin. I may not be able to be my hero’s but it seems tangible to me, I can touch that same nerve with my music.’
Stanley’s support artist will be confirmed soon.
Consider this your chance, as a fan, to come hear the artist you love perform in an intimate, inner-city studio environment and also discover new, similar and fantastic musicians.
This is a unique gig experience that puts you at the heart of the artist’s performance.
A large proportion of the revenue raised from ticket sales is returned to the artists as payment for their talent and musicianship.
Prohibition Recording Studios prides itself in having musical integrity on behalf of ourselves and the artists.
Tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
