About The Events
On Saturday 7th September Charlie Reader will be returning to Prohibition Recording Studios for our monthly Prohibition Session!
If you missed Charlie last time make sure you don’t miss this one. Charlies unique and mesmerising approach to his one man band style is both impressive to listen to and to witness in person, especially at a small and intimate event such as this!
For those that don’t know Charlie Reader:
Playing drums with his feet, guitar with his hands and vocal harmonies with his effects pedal; Charlie Reader has crafted a big sound for one man on stage. Upbeat tunes with catchy melodies are his forte – not to say he can’t strip back for some mellow numbers when the mood is right. Hailing from the city of Liverpool, 23-year-old Folk-Rock singer-songwriter, Charlie Reader has recently captivated audiences, young and old, from all over the UK and Ireland. Gaining many influences from the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Mumford & Sons to name a few. Charlie has spend the last two years developing his live set, performing at Festivals and venues across the country and beyond – growing his fan base with every gig he does – whilst studying Music Business at BIMM Manchester – all gearing up towards his debut release coming soon.
Supporting Charlie on the night will be Liverpool’s talented singer songwriter; Eleanor Nelly who will be opening the evening and playing a range of her fantastic repertoire.
