About The Events

Liverpool’s multi-award winning Robert Vincent is one of the most acclaimed voices on the UK Americana scene. He has toured extensively both as a solo performer, with his band and most recently in 2021 with his band accompanied by a string quartet.

Robert released his debut album “Life In Easy Steps” in 2013, the title track of which was playlisted on BBC Radio 2.

In 2016 Robert was awarded the inaugural “Bob Harris Emerging Artist” award at the Americana Music Association UK’s first annual awards ceremony in Hackney, London.

Further award success followed with Robert’s second album “I’ll Make The Most Of My Sins” receiving the AMA UK’s “2018 UK Album of The Year” award.

2020 saw the release of Robert’s most recent album “In This Town You’re Owned” which was recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios and produced by Brit Award winning Ethan Johns.

The album received critical acclaim in the UK, Europe and the US.

This album saw Robert voted as both “UK Artist of The Year 2020” and the album as “UK Album of The Year 2020” by the readers of Americana UK magazine.

Further AMA UK awards also followed with Robert receiving both the “2021 UK Artist of The Year” award and “In This Town You’re Owned” awarded “2021 UK Album of The Year”.

Press Quotes
“Somewhere Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley and Phil Everly are smiling” – Coachella Valley Weekly, Album Review, 2020

“Early promise made good by Liverpool based Americana hopeful”; **** – Mojo April 2020

“Winner of the inaugural Americana Music Association UK’s Emerging Artist Award in 2016, Vincent’s not so much emerging as arriving” – Andy Fyle Mojo Review (April 2020)

“Nobody knows the ending, he sings. But this outstanding album is a very good start on the path to finding the light at the end of the tunnel in which we seem to be lost” – Mike Davies, Folk Radio Album Review

“There’s no reason to waste any time, so let’s get straight to the point. Robert Vincent’s third album ‘In This Town You’re Owned’  is a corker (for those not familiar with this UK term, that’s a really good thing!)….the quality of the song-writing, the performance and the production never drops beneath a level that can only be described as outstanding”. – Jim Finnie, Americana-UK, Album Review
