About The Events

The return of the Mono Lp’s will be taking place within Prohibition Recording Studios on the 23rd of February!

This promises to be a busy, unique and musical night with the lead members Vicky (Cello) and Ste (Guitar and Vocals) being joined by a String Quartet to provide an exclusive acoustic evening of their old classics and a preview of the forthcoming album!

We still remember the mono’s debut here at Prohibition Recording Studios last year with a great audience, their full band and live recorded set, don’t miss out!

Each ticket will include a full live recorded and mixed set from the night that you will receive via digital download the week after the gig as well as a signed copy of the Mono LP’s last single ‘He’ll Save My Soul’

Gary Maginnis will be hosting the support slot for the event and playing a brilliant range of originals!

For those who don’t know Gary:

Born and raised in the Irish countryside, and now living in Liverpool, Gary Maginnis combines his experiences and observations to craft songs and stories that are both emotive and personable. Drawing from a wide range of influences across genres such as blues, folk, country and traditional Irish music, Gary Maginnis & The Like create a sound that is unique. With his honesty and the occasional pun, appearing onstage as a solo artist or with his band The Like, Gary Maginnis puts on an entertaining show, where his strong songwriting skills shine through.

“Watching Gary Maginnis on stage is one of those rare pleasures in life, the softly spoken and the high value is enough to put a smile on your face even before the set begins, but there is something else raging deep inside the musician, a sense of serenity that might not be seen” Liverpool Sound & Vision

As always our well stocked, gorgeous micro bar will be open serving a fantastic range of Craft Beer, Lager, Cider, Wines, Spirits, Bubbles and a great selection of Gin & Fever Tree tonics!
